    Excellent

I bought 4 of these to mount on my pickup truck's Access Adarac. These have worked great for any size bike I've put up there. My youngest's 20" wheeled mountain bike, my full sus, and with couple fattie kits, some well-fed bikes all fit great. The entire system seems very durable and should last many years. 100% recommend them.

    ALMOST perfect

I love this rack! I like it more than hitch racks, because it is essentially a tray rack but just moved to the roof. My ONLY qualm is that the articulating arm that ratchets down on the front tire is very stiff. It sucks when I'm on my step ladder, holding the bike up with one hand, my other arm outstretched trying to lift the articulating arm which is very stiff and I have no leverage, nearly giving myself a hernia. I'm hoping that as I use it more it will become less stiff, and I'm hoping some WD-40 will help, but holy hell does it really need to be that stiff? I know that it is not just a random defect because I bought two and they both have stiff articulating arms. If I could, I would give this rack 4.5 stars due to the user-friendliness, but if you are good at lifting heavy things with your arm outstretched then it's not a big deal. With all that said, if you're considering buying this rack, then totally do it. It is truly a great investment.

Great product design/quality, and great customer-support team!

Posted by Hiroshi on Aug 19th 2020

BrassKnuckles rack is rock-solid! The tried-and-true load arm design is super secure and confidence-aspiring through rough roads (no rattling/creaking, no wiggle/play), along with an equally solid tray (not flexy/flimsy). The mounting straps easily/securely anchor the head/base unit onto my round crossbar perfectly. I used to always look up thru sunroof worryingly with my previous big-brand 'roll-it-forward' loading rack on bumpy roads, but not any more with BrassKnuckles rack! Loading/unloading can't be easier, and it's completely flat when not in use - love it! Assembly/installation was very quick/easy out of box. Online ordering was simple, and processing/shipping was super-fast. To top off the great products, the customer-support folks at RockyMounts are absolutely above-and-beyond helpful/supportive (top notch across any industries). Another customer-for-life here - thanks, guys!

    Better than anything else!

Posted by Randy McCleary on Mar 26th 2019

I bought this rack to accommodate a new fat tire bike. I could not find a way to accommodate the bike on a roof without taking the very large skewer off and purchasing a very rare skewer mount. Rockymount's BrassKnuckles solves the job for the fat tire and is now my go-to rack position. It firmly locks the bike in quick and easily. Doesn't move about under wind loading even at +highway speeds+. It mounted cleanly to the roof bars of my aero rack but feel it would be just as home on an old round-bar rack system. Can't recommend it enough. -RJ

    Amazing Bike Rack!!!

Posted by Jason J. on Mar 2nd 2019

By far the best roof mount bike rack I have ever owned. There is nothing better than being able to leave both wheels on your bike on the roof of your vehicle and know it’s going to be 100% secure. I would highly recommend this rack system to anybody.
