RockyMounts Warranty Policy

Since January 1st, 2014 RockyMounts has offered a limited lifetime warranty. Under this policy RockyMounts will fix or replace products affected by manufacturer defect. Outlined below are some examples of what is and is not covered under our warranty. For warranty claims customers must provide proof of purchase and pictures documenting the issue in question. Once received, RockyMounts technicians will assess the damage and proceed with the best course of action to get your product up and running. 

RockyMounts Warranty Covers:

  • Cracking plastic
  • Missing parts from factory
  • Cracks on welds
  • Issues causing loss of functionality
  • Issues that inhibit the normal use of the mount not caused by natural occurrences

RockyMounts Warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Use of product in its non recommended capacity
  • Items purchased on the used market
  • Superficial wear-and-tear such as faded plastic and paint, light rust (unless found to be excessive)  
  • Products used in an off road capacity
  • Impacts or accidents (car crashes, garage doors, low trees, ground objects, parking lot incidents)
  • Natural weather events
  • Modified or custom altered products
  • Incorrect installation
  • Overloading
  • Damage from use with an RV trailer/fifth wheel (any towed vehicle)
  • Lost Keys
