Noose

  • Designed to fit the elliptical, wing shaped crossbars that come stock with your vehicle.
  • Comes complete with all stainless steel hardware for quick and easy installation.
  • Fits 98% of factory racks (a few rare exceptions, see below)
  • Includes new stainless steel, long-throw, lockable quick release (lock cores sold separately) is the easiest to use in the rack industry. One sided smooth, positive adjustment, large knob is easy to turn, 12mm of closure (our closest competitor only has 8mm). This is the best QR around, bar none.
  • Full length (43”) 6061 aluminum wheel tray fits both skinny road tires and mountain bike tires with a new rock hard, durable powder coated (colors) or anodized (black only) finish.
  • Nylon ratchet strap is adjustable and easily secures the rear wheel (both mountain and road).
  • Modular design, fits most bikes with disc brakes, for the few that do not, see Disc Brake Adapter. *Fits a skinny road tire and up to a 2.35" mountain bike tire.

9mm Noose SL

  • Same great bike mount as the “Noose SL” (above), but incorporates a standard 9mm quick release skewer (this is the only difference, the tray, hardware, strap etc. are identical)
  • Holds the bike like a champ, but cannot lock bike to rack.

A few rack anomolies: The Noose cannot be fitted to the Porsche Cayenne Factory Bars. Nissan Pathfinder Armada requires a Noose with a disc brake adapter. The disc brake adapter adds 4” of length, the crossbars on this vehicle are too far apart and need this.
