Fork mounted bike rack for Thule ® and Yakima ® crossbars.

Do I need the SL or SLX? The SL will carry a skinny road tire and up to a 2.35" mountain bike tire. The SLX will carry the skinny road tire as well, and up to a 3.0" mountain bike tire. The ratchet strap on the SLX is 3" longer and can contact the roof of the car while you are closing it if there is a skinny road tire in the tray. It will still work, but the strap end of the strap can drag across the roof. Our recommendation: Unless you ride anything over a 2.35" tire, get the SL. If you do get a larger diameter tire (these are mostly downhill bikes) down the road, you can purchase the SLX wheelstrap for $9.95. The tire will ride higher in the tray, but will still work!

Disc Brake Adapter Lariat Profile

9mm Lariat SL

  • Same great bike mount as the “Lariat SL” (above), but incorporates a standard 9mm quick release skewer (this is the only difference, the tray, hardware, strap etc. are identical!)
  • Holds the bike like a champ, but cannot lock bike to rack.

Lariat SL Recumbent

Same exact bike rack as the Lariat SL, but features a 60” long wheel tray (not pictured), to carry longer wheelbase recumbents. Available in black only. This will carry a recumbent with up to a 60” wheelbase. If you add the Disc Brake Adapter, it will add some length and you can carry up to a 64” wheelbase bent.
