FlyTrap Adapter

Fork mount adapter for 20mm thru-axle equipped bikes.

The FlyTrap Adapter is the ticket for 20mm thru-axle equipped mountain bikes. It installs on your fork mounted bike racks (fits all RockyMounts, Thule® and Yakima®, and most others) and securely holds your axle. Simply reinstall your axle in the fork after removing the front wheel, hinge the top cap open, and clamp your axle in place. The Fly Trap Adapter is designed to make carrying your thru-axle bike as easy as possible.

Compatibility

Your 20mm thru-axle must be removable to work with the FlyTrap. The FlyTrap bike rack carrier fits thru-axle forks from RockShox, Fox, Manitou, Specialized, Marzocchi, Risse, Stratos, White Brothers, Hannabrink, DMR, and Magura. It will not work with old Marzocchi QR20 forks (discontinued a few years ago).

FlyTrap Adapter w/Specialized Axle

If you have a new Specialized Future Shock e150 SL or e150 fork, you can purchase the FlyTrap Bolt on with Specialized dummy axle (pictured below). Install this solid aluminum axle, it threads in just like the one in the front wheel, in your fork for mounting in the FlyTrap and down the road you can go. It is identical to the FlyTrap Bolt-On as listed above, but includes the extra axle for your Specialized fork.
