What are the differences between the Lariat SL and PitchFork?
1) The PitchFork comes with an integrated allowance for bikes with disc brakes, on the Lariat, this required the Disc Brake Adapter.
2) The PitchFork is lower profile, more streamlined to compliment today's vehicle roof lines.
3) Works with skinny road tires up to 2.7" mountain bike tires, the Lariat is 2.35".
4) The tubular aluminum tray on the PitchFork is 40% stronger, and includes an end cap, and is 2" longer (45") to accomodate longer wheelbases found on 29'ers and full suspension bikes.
5) The Quick Release rides against nylon bushings so it does not rattle around when not in use.
6) Bike locks to rack, rack locks to car.
